Kerecis is educating SAWC participants on remarkable fish-skin graft results

Excitement is mounting about the use of fish-skin grafts for advanced wound care. Kerecis is teaching SAWC participants about the groundbreaking science in several ways:

  • An industry-supported session taking a deep dive into the use of fish skin for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers with exposed structures. The focus is on new research bringing hope to patients at high risk of complications and amputations. The session will take place Friday, October 4, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Milano VII-VIII room at Caesars Palace.
  • During a hands-on skills lab, entitled: Overcoming Challenges in Assessing and Managing Lower Extremity Wounds: Hands-On Workshop, Kerecis medical affairs program managers and Michael Lacqua, MD will demonstrate Kerecis products, highlighting advanced applications in real-world clinical settings. The skills lab will take place Thursday, October 3rd, from 1:20 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. in Augustus I.
  • The “Taste of Iceland” event will allow participants to explore Icelandic culture and its connection with Kerecis innovations. This popular event will take place Friday, October 4th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Neopolitan IV – Promenade level.
  • Additionally, 50 posters will detail advancements and case studies involving Kerecis products. The abstracts will be presented on Friday, October 4, from 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in Augustus 3.
