The Boswick Burn and Wound Care Symposium is an international conference that covers the latest advancements in wound healing, burn care, and infection control.
Presentations will be made by physicians, nurses, researchers, related medical specialists, and others involved in the care of soft tissue injuries and related complications. The meeting is designed for physicians, researchers, investigators, nurses, therapists, dieticians, and others interested in the development of techniques, treatments, drugs, and devices in the study and management of wound healing, wound management, burn care, and infection control.
Kerecis will be attending the Boswick Burn and Wound Care Symposium.
John A. Boswick, a graduate of Loyola University, Chicago with an M.A. in Anatomy and an M.D., became a Professor of Surgery at Northwestern University. His career included roles as Director at Cook County Hospital’s Sumner Koch Burn Center and Hand Surgery Service. After moving to Denver in 1972, he was a Surgery Professor at the University of Colorado. Dr. Boswick led as the seventh President of the American Burn Association and held a key position in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. His contributions spanned consulting for the U.S. Army, WHO, and leading the International Society for Burn Injuries. He authored over 100 surgical articles and several burn care books.
