The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma (AAST) is a non-profit group that aims to gather and spread useful knowledge and information to not only its members, but to the medical world at large. The Association also furthers study and professional development in a positive environment. There are also several journals and forums that work to spread as much relevant medical information as possible.
The Annual Meeting of AAST consists of a series of meetings and lectures about all manner of topics that range from artificial intelligence in medicine to the effect of COVID on surgical processes. There will also be an opportunity for industry leaders to showcase and display their products to a group of medical professionals.
