What is the American College of Mohs Surgery Annual Meeting?
ACSM specializes in the Mohs micrographic surgical technique used to treat skin cancer. The organization known as ACSM, was founded in 1967, by a small group of surgeons and Frederic E. Mohs who began to use the Moh’s technique which removes skin cancer in stages. Dr. Mohs served as the first president of the college.
The meeting program is designed for ACMS members in order to expand their knowledge of Moh’s surgery and reconstruction, practice management, patient outcomes and more. The meeting will invite members to attend educational sessions for continuing medical education. The program is rooted in evidence-based medicine and features diverse speakers with high relevance to all practice environments.
These programs are designed for ACMS members, dermatology residents, Fellows-in-Training, non-member physicians, and surgical assistants collaborating with ACMS members.
