John C. Lantis II, MD

Dr. John C. Lantis II is currently the site Chief and Professor of Surgery at Mount Sinai West Hospital, and the Icahn School of Medicine; in mid-town Manhattan where he practices as a senior vascular surgeon.

He attained the academic rank of Professor of Surgery first at Columbia University in 2013, and subsequently in 2014 at the Icahn School of Medicine. In addition, as co-chair of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Value Analysis Committee, he has served on the corporate steering committee for value analysis since 2014.

Dr. Lantis has been a principal investigator on over 70 clinical trials; including having participated in most of the lower extremity stem cell therapy trials. He is the Clinical Editor of WOUNDS and sits on the editorial boards of most of the major Wound journals. He is the past president of the New York Vascular Surgery Society, a founding member of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery, and the Vascular Study Group of New York.

Dr. Mary Hanley, DO, FUHM, CWSP, FAPWCA

Dr. Hanley is board certified in family medicine, wound care, undersea and hyperbaric medicine. Additionally, she is recognized as a Wound Care Certified Physician Specialist by the American Board of Wound Management. She received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine and completed residency at Kent Hospital in Rhode Island.

As the Medical Director for Roper Saint Francis Healthcare’s wound care and hyperbaric and undersea medicine departments, she plays a crucial role in providing top-notch care to her patients. Dr. Hanley is an active member of various wound care and hyperbaric medicine societies and serves as the editor in chief of the StatPearls Board Review for Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.

Dr. Anthony Tickner, DPM, FACCWS, FRCPS

Anthony Tickner, DPM, FACCWS, FRCPS is a board-certified wound care surgeon, trained at Saint Vincent Hospital, UMASS Medical Center and Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. In addition to holding an advanced certificate of added qualification in limb salvage through the American Board of Podiatric Medicine, he is also fellowed at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, the AACWS, APCWS, APWH, and the ADFS.

Dr. Tickner is a highly sought after international wound care consultant and the Medical Director of both the Saint Vincent Hospital Wound Healing Center in Worcester, MA as well as the amputation prevention and limb reconstruction services at Associated Foot Specialists in various locations in Massachusetts.
Dr. Tickner is currently the Vice President of the Massachusetts Foot & Ankle Society and on the ABPM committee for limb salvage and amputation prevention.
He has published numerous works in the fields of Podiatric surgery, reconstruction, wound management, offloading, compression therapy as well as many other aspects of the hard-to-heal patient.

Rifat Latifi, MD, FACS, FKCS, FICS

Rifat Latifi, MD, FACS, FKCS, FICS is a trauma and general surgeon and a Chairman of Surgery Consultants International LLC, Tucson, Arizona. He is an adjunct professor of surgery at the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona and former Chairman and tenured Professor of Surgery at New York Medical College, School of Medicine, and Director of the Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center Health Network in Valhalla, New York. He is Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (ACS), Fellow of International College of Surgeons (ICS), and of a Fellow and founding President of Kosova College of Surgeons (KCS) (www.koscs.org) and Editor-in-Chief of the Kosova Journal of Surgery. He is also an editor of Surgical Technology International.
